Job description
Tasks
- Prepare the soil for planting (including grafting) and harvesting farinaceous (plantains, bananas, squash, tuber crops such as tanniers and ginger), vegetables (such as sweet peppers, culantro and beans) and fruits (such as pitahaya or dragon fruit and lemons).
- Workers will work in the field in nurseries or high tunnels.
- Workers may be required to build or maintain agricultural structures (such as nurseries, high tunnels and warehouse).
- Driving and operating passenger vehicles and farm equipment may be required.
Requirements
- Visa required: H-2A
- Workers must be able to stand, walk uphill and downhill, sit, squat, kneel, crouch, bend (from the waist), push, pull, reach, lift, and carry items weighing in the range of 5 to 75 pounds.
Schedule
- From Nov 14, 2026 to Aug 31, 2027
- The worker may be requested but not required to work up to 12 hours per day
Pay
- $10.50 per hour
