Feed Lot Helper/Ranch Hand

Tasks

• Daily care and livestock feeding to ensure that proper rations are loaded and fed to livestock.
• Including assisting in calving.
• These calving duties include monitoring cattle for calving difficulties and health problems, bedding, and cleaning the pens of the cattle.
• The employer owns 100% of the livestock held at the facility.
• No livestock is sold, owned, or raised by other livestock producers.
• All animals at the feedlot are exclusively owned by the employer.
• After being held and cared for at the feedlot, the livestock is typically sent to pasture or for market sale.
• The length of time livestock is held at the feedlot can vary based on their condition and market readiness, but generally, livestock remains at the feedlot for an average of 120-180 days.

• Visa required: H-2A
• 2 months of verifiable experience in livestock duties is required.
• Must be able to provide references to verify exper

Pay

• $14.29 per hour
