Job description
About the role
Repligen Corporation is seeking a Field Application Scientist to join its Upstream team and support its upstream product portfolio within the bioprocessing industry. The role is based in the San Francisco Bay Area. You will partner with customers and the commercial team to provide technical support across pre- and post-sales activities, serving as a trusted technical resource to help customers evaluate, implement, troubleshoot, and optimize Repligen technologies.
The role calls for expertise in cell culture process development, perfusion, filtration, and manufacturing, along with analytical problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to build collaborative relationships and translate complex technical concepts into practical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the Repligen Sales team and Product Management to provide pre- and post-sales support for XCell™ ATF systems, Spectrum® Hollow Fiber, TFDF™ Technology, and KrosFlo® TFF System product lines.
- Respond to customer requests for technical support, deliver technical seminars, conduct product demonstrations, provide on-site and in-lab support, troubleshoot process challenges, and assist with Voice of Customer initiatives.
- Develop and execute project plans to help customers evaluate and implement Repligen technologies.
- Analyze customer processes and data to identify opportunities for optimization, process improvement, and enhanced performance.
- Troubleshoot technical and process-related challenges, perform root cause analysis, and provide practical, data-driven recommendations.
