Client - Bavelsystems is seeking a highly skilled Field Electrical Engineer to join our team in Chatham, Illinois. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative electrical systems, focusing on electric motor drives (EMDs) to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform on-site assessments and analyses of electric motor drives (EMDs) to ensure optimal functionality and performance.
• Design and implement electrical systems for new and existing projects, complying with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues promptly.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation including schematics, wiring diagrams, and detailed project progress reports.
• Provide training and mentorship to team members on electrical engineering best practices and methodologies.
• Manage inventory of electrical components and coordinate procurement activities with relevant departments.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in electric motor drives and electrical engineering.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Proven field engineering experience with electric motor drives (EMDs).
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred.
• Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, MATLAB, or equivalent tools.
• 3-5 years of electrical engineering experience, especially in field environments.
