Field Operations Manager

About the role

Blue Signal Search is seeking a hands-on Field Operations Manager for a growing service organization entering an important stage of expansion. The role leads field execution and front-office operations, develops the team, improves processes, and helps shape how the business scales.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations across field crews and front-office support teams, coordinating work from customer intake through service completion.
• Coach and develop technicians, field leaders, and customer-facing office employees while reinforcing expectations, accountability, and professional growth.
• Manage scheduling and dispatch, balancing staffing, project requirements, travel, equipment availability, and customer commitments.
• Build and improve SOPs across sales handoffs, scheduling, field execution, documentation, and operational follow-through.
• Monitor labor, job costs, productivity, quality, and project performance, and take corrective action when execution or profitability falls short of expectations.
• Partner with sales to assess project scopes, capacity, staffing needs, timelines, and operational feasibility before production.
• Maintain high standards for safety and workmanship.
