Job description
About the role
Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, payment processing terminals and ATMs for our clients.
Tasks
- Build and update POS menus and terminal files
- Install and configure POS systems at customer locations and train customers.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues.
- Provide on-site technical support and customer service.
- Provide occasional after-hours phone or field support using a company provided phone.
- Assist in ATM installation and attend to ATM related service calls (No cash handling).
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of computers, hardware, software, and networking is preferred
- Basic computer and keyboard skills.
- Reliable transportation for travel to client locations.
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
- Ability to work independently, solve problems, and learn quickly.
