Field Supervisor

About the Role:
The Field supervisor will serve as the on-the-ground leader, responsible for managing the field teams, ensuring data quality across various project components, and building strong, supportive relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders. The Field Supervisor is a critical leadership role responsible for the day-to-day operations and strategic oversight of the The Climate-Smart Rice Project in UPRIIS field activities.

Field Supervisor Key Responsibilities :
The Field Supervisor ensures successful field operations through strong team leadership, meticulous data integrity, and effective external partnerships.

• Directly oversee field teams (Monitoring Technicians) for all data collection, including water level monitoring, ensuring strict protocol adherence.
• Guarantee the completeness, timeliness, and high quality of all field data.
• Provide essential input for formal project reporting and required documentation.
• Ensure accurate and timely data transposition of all field records into the centralized digital database.
• Utilize OCS applications to monitor and manage project data, ensuring continuous updates and data integrity in collaboration with Data Management staff.
• Coordinate with NIA (National Irrigation Administration) to secure relevant project documentation and references.
• Lead engagement and coordination with IAs, LGUs, TSAGs, and local farmers for all project activities.
• Discuss project details with farmers to secure their understanding and full support; provide support for project meetings and presentations.

Contract of Service (renewable based on performance)
Qualifications:
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agri-Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
✔ Experience in field supervision, agri projects, or data monitoring
✔ Familiar with water level monitoring and MS Excel/Office
✔ Resident of Guimba or Licab Nueva Ecija.
✔ Willing to travel and work on-site.
