About the role
Nutrition Foundation of the Philippines Inc. is seeking a Field Team Leader for the Baseline Assessment on Maternal and Child Nutrition in the Philippines.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and conduct orientation activities with study areas, including courtesy calls.
- Supervise field data collection and assist with data collection whenever possible.
- Prepare a masterlist of households with children aged 0–23 months and generate a random sample using the prescribed system.
- Organize data collection by mapping household proximity with a barangay representative and local aide.
- Check that tablets are set up and ready for use; review collected data for completeness and accuracy, and ensure a backup copy of consolidated data.
- Coordinate with the local government unit of the next survey area.
- Report technical and non-technical problems to the Project Team Leader.
- Provide the NFP project team and assigned subgroups with coordination and field data collection updates.
- Carry out other assigned tasks.
Requirements
- Graduate of a four-year course, preferably in nutrition-dietetics, nursing, or another health-related field.
- At least 2 years of experience, preferably handling a data collection team.
- Experience using an open-source mobile data collection platform.
- Ability to speak the local dialect.
