About the RoleQuadrivius Honduras is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Specialist to join our growing team. This position is responsible for supporting the company's financial operations by ensuring accurate financial reporting, budgeting, reconciliations, accounts management, and compliance with internal policies. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.Perform monthly bank, credit card, and account reconciliations.Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.Monitor cash flow and prepare financial analyses.Process invoices and ensure timely vendor payments.Support payroll preparation by validating financial data.Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger.Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and financial regulations.Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.Analyze financial data and identify opportunities for process improvements.Collaborate with leadership to provide financial insights for business decisions.Maintain organized financial documentation and records.Perform additional finance and administrative duties as assigned.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 2 years of experience in finance or accounting.Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles.Experience with budgeting, reconciliations, and financial analysis.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Experience using accounting or ERP systems is preferred.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent organizational and time management abilities.High level of accuracy and attention to detail.Ability to handle confidential financial information with professionalism.Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred QualificationsExperience in a shared services or multinational environment.Knowledge of payroll processes.Experience with financial dashboards and reporting tools.Familiarity with U.S. accounting practices is a plus.Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, Power Query, etc.).Experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems.
