Financial Analyst

Position SummaryThe Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the organization's financial planning, reporting, and analysis activities. This role helps provide insights that support business decisions through financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and performance reporting. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with financial data in a fast-paced environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and analyze financial reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.Perform variance analysis and provide explanations for budget-to-actual results.Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and decision-making.Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial reporting activities.Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and presentations for management.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information and support business initiatives.Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting.Assist with process improvement initiatives to enhance financial reporting and analysis.Support internal and external audit requests as needed.Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience2–5 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, or a related finance function.Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis.Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting tools is preferred.
