Part-Time Fire Service Advisor / Consultant
Location: Los Angeles, California, United States
Type: Part-Time Consultant / Contract (5–10 hours per week)

Overview
BANC3 is developing innovative technology to support firefighters in safely and effectively combating fires. This project is conducted in collaboration with the Department of War (DoW) to ensure the system meets the real operational needs of firefighters and fire departments.
We are seeking a Los Angeles–based Fire Service Advisor to integrate firefighter perspectives and operational requirements into the technology development process.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic guidance on firefighter operational needs and fireground realities.
- Incorporate firefighter input and operational feedback into technology development.
- Facilitate engagement with leadership, evaluators, and operational personnel within the Los Angeles Fire Department and regional fire agencies.
- Advise on aligning technology with municipal priorities and public safety needs in collaboration with City of Los Angeles stakeholders.
