Job description

About the role

Wellura Inc. is seeking a fitness professional specializing in older adults to join our network of in-home care partners.

Our clients are older adults who want to maintain strength, balance and independence at home.

Tasks

Sessions are one-on-one, 45–60 minutes, and tailored to each client's mobility, cognitive status and care plan.

Requirements

A recognized personal training certification (CSEP-CPT, canfitpro PTS or equivalent)
2+ years of experience training older adults
Current First Aid/CPR, a Vulnerable Sector Check, and commercial liability insurance (if applicable)
A degree in Kinesiology or Gerontology is a strong asset

Schedule

The role may be structured as a part-time employee or as an independent contractor.
Non-exclusive independent contractor engagement.
