Key Responsibilities

• Operate and manage the foundation drill rig to complete drilling projects according to specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on drilling equipment to prevent breakdowns and maintain operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with site supervisors and project managers to schedule and adjust drilling activities as needed.
• Monitor drilling depth and encountered materials to ensure compliance with project requirements and report discrepancies.
• Adhere to safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment for all team members on site.
• Document daily operations, including project progress and equipment status reports.
• Assist in training new operators and provide guidance on drilling best practices.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of heavy machinery and equipment operation.
• 1-3 years of experience in drilling operations or related fields preferred.
• Knowledge of construction industry safety regulations and practices.
• Basic skills in equipment maintenance and repair techniques.

As a Foundation Drill Rig Operator, you will report directly to the site supervisor and collaborate closely with field teams to deliver exceptional results. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Elk River, MN.

Salary: $95000 per year
