Freelance MUN Trainer

About the role

Theglobalcitizeneducation is looking for trainers who believe education can shape the next generation of thoughtful global citizens. The role involves delivering Model United Nations training using lesson materials developed by The Global Citizen Education Group.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Model United Nations training sessions using lesson materials developed by The Global Citizen Education Group.
• Facilitate engaging, accessible discussions on international relations, diplomacy, and global issues.
• Guide students in developing research, public speaking, negotiation, and policy analysis skills.
• Support students as they prepare for and participate in mock conferences and simulations.
• Provide feedback to help students improve their performance in debates, negotiations, and committee discussions.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in any related field.
• At least 1 year of teaching experience or experience facilitating student programs.
• At least 2 years of experience in Model United Nations or similar activities.
• Experience as an MUN delegate, chair, trainer, or organizing team member is preferred.
• Proficiency in English, with strong speaking and communication skills.
• Ability to engage and manage groups of students in an interactive learning environment.
