Job description
Abidi Solutions is seeking a skilled Full Stack Cloud Engineer for a contract position based in Chicago, Illinois. Join our innovative team to design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud solutions that drive our technological growth in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy scalable applications using TypeScript and microservices architecture.
- Design and implement efficient ETL pipelines for data processing and integration.
- Configure and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS and Terraform to optimize performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines ensuring smooth deployments.
- Create data visualizations with D3.JS to support reporting and decision-making.
- Maintain and improve cloud architecture focusing on security and reliability.
- Provide technical support and document engineering processes and procedures.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
- Experience building ETL pipelines and working with microservices.
- Familiarity with Terraform for infrastructure as code management.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of cloud architecture principles and best practices.
- Understanding of data visualization using D3.JS is preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in full stack development within cloud environments.
As a member of Abidi Solutions' engineering team, you will report directly to the Cloud Engineering Manager and work closely with product managers and data teams to deliver impactful cloud solutions.
