Job description
About the role
Supporting a critical, external-facing training application used by lenders and trainers within the capital markets space.
Tasks
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain full-stack web applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and AWS.
- Build responsive frontend components and integrate them with backend REST APIs.
- Develop backend services, business logic, integrations, and microservices.
- Implement automated tests across UI and backend layers, including functional and regression testing.
- Validate user stories end to end and ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Support application deployments, production troubleshooting, performance improvements, and reliability.
- Participate in Git/GitHub workflows, pull requests, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with product owners, engineers, and other stakeholders in an Agile environment.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve productivity and code quality.
Requirements
- Need only USC and GC
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, object-oriented programming, and modern Java features.
- Experience developing applications using Spring Boot, REST APIs, JPA/Hibernate, and microservices.
- Practical experience with Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, components, services, and API integration.
