Full Stack Sr. Developer - Code Reviewer

Our fields of work are just as diverse as our employees and we are proud to live this diversity.For our group company, NKG Americas, we are looking for a Full Stack Sr. Developer - Code Reviewer (f/m/d).The position can be based in Colombia, Peru, Brazil, Costa Rica, Honduras or Mexico.Your ResponsibilitiesRepository Custody and Review:Review and approve all code delivered by the development team (full-stack and/or by layer: web, mobile, backend), ensuring quality, security, and maintainability.Act as the custodian of the repository: manage the monorepo, branches, merge policies, version control, and integrity of the history.Define and maintain coding standards, style guides, and project best practices.Make critical technical decisions regarding architecture, dependencies, and implementation trade-offs, with special care for sensitive modules: the SCD2 versioning engine, risk impact calculation, offline sync engine, and operation idempotency.Agentic Work (AI-augmented):Define and maintain the project’s agentic work standards: prompting conventions, context/rules files (e.g., CLAUDE.md, .cursorrules, agent rules), agent autonomy limits, and mandatory human review checkpoints.Review AI-generated code with heightened scrutiny, detecting API hallucinations, invented dependencies, silent duplication, and architecture deviations typical of assisted generation.Evaluate and standardize the use of agentic tools by the development team (Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, Copilot, or others), ensuring consistent outputs regardless of the tool used.Automated Quality and Deployment:Design and maintain the project’s automated testing strategy across all layers: unit tests (xUnit or equivalent), integration tests (including database testing with Testcontainers), API contract testing, web E2E (Playwright), and mobile E2E (Detox/Maestro).Define and enforce automated quality gates in the pipeline: mandatory execution of the test suite, coverage thresholds, static analysis/linting, dependency and secret scanning as merge conditions.Ensure automatic execution of test cases in every deployment flow (PR → CI → staging environments → production), with deployments blocked upon failures and a rollback strategy in place.Promote safe deployment practices: controlled deployments (blue-green / canary), post-deploy smoke tests, and automatic verification of health checks before promotion to production.Structured Logging and Traceability:Require and review consistent structured logging instrumentation across all layers (web, mobile, backend, jobs), with end-to-end trace correlation and audit events, especially in sensitive modules (SCD2, risk calculation, sync engine).Relationship with the Development Team and StakeholdersProvide constructive and clear feedback to the development team, raising their technical level.Act as a bridge between the development team and internal stakeholders (Trading, Risk, Compliance) on all matters related to code quality.Your profileStrong proficiency in English and Spanish (written and verbal) is required.Bachelor’s degree in information technology or similar.5 years of relevant experience in software development and code review.Nice to have: familiarity with coffee business.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
