This is a hands-on position that requires dedication, flexibility, and a strong work ethic. Farm work is rewarding, but it is also physically demanding and requires someone who is comfortable working hard outdoors in all types of weather.

Our farmhands play an important role in caring for our rescued animals, maintaining our gardens and grounds, assisting with repairs and maintenance, and supporting the programs and events that bring our mission to life. Every day is different, and every day provides an opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

Requirements:
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to comfortably lift 50 pounds
• Comfortable performing physical outdoor work in all weather conditions
• Comfortable working around farm animals
• Positive attitude and strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Desire to learn about agriculture
• Must be available to work at least one weekend day

Bonus Skills:
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Basic carpentry skills
• Experience operating tractors, forklifts, or other heavy machinery
