Job description
Join a family-owned self-storage company as a Full Time Grounds Maintenance Technician servicing multiple locations including Hamburg, Fleetwood, Mt Wolf, Lancaster, Bally, and Pottstown in Pennsylvania.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct weekly walkthroughs of each self-storage site
- Perform unit inventory, cleanouts, and over-lock management
- Weed spraying, mowing, and basic grounds keeping
- Basic facility maintenance including power washing, painting, and snow removal
- Cut locks as needed and assist with property renovations
- Maintain a neat and clean business environment
- Send daily reports to management
Job Requirements
- Must have a smartphone for communication and reporting
- Truck usage preferred; mileage reimbursed if using personal truck, or company truck provided
- Reliable with clear and constant communication skills
- Occasional on-call availability for emergency situations
Work Schedule & Compensation
- Full-time position with 4-day work weeks (4 shifts of 10 hours each)
- Hourly pay rate of $20 per hour
- W4 employment status
