Job description
Join a family-owned self-storage company as a full-time Self-Storage Grounds Maintenance Technician. This hands-on position maintains storage facilities in Hamburg, Fleetwood, Mt. Wolf, Lancaster, Bally, and Pottstown, Pennsylvania, with the work based in the Emmaus area.
Responsibilities
- Conduct weekly walkthroughs of each facility and complete unit inventory checks, unit cleanouts, and unit over-locks.
- Handle weed spraying, mowing, basic facility maintenance, and general groundskeeping.
- Cut locks as needed and perform power washing, painting, and snow removal.
- Help maintain a neat, clean business environment.
- Send daily reports to management.
- Spend approximately half of your time maintaining self-storage properties and the other half assisting with property renovations and new facility setups.
Requirements
- A smartphone is required.
- Use your truck with mileage paid, or use a company-provided truck.
- Maintain clear, consistent communication with management.
- Be reliable and easy to communicate with.
- Be available occasionally for emergency on-call situations.
Pay and Schedule
- Pay: $20 per hour; W-4 position.
- Job type: Full-time.
- Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week, with occasional emergency on-call duties.
