Fund Equity Controller

Requirements

• 7+ years of fund accounting experience and a strong background in private equity funds.
• Extensive private equity fund accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Strong knowledge of LP/GP structures, capital calls and distributions, investor allocations, and carried interest.
• Experience with distribution waterfalls, preferred returns, GP catch-up, and clawback provisions.
• Knowledge of fund NAV reviews, valuations, financial statements, and regulatory reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills; Geneva experience is a plus.
• CPA preferred, but not required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must currently reside in the New York tri-state area (NY, NJ, or CT).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. No visa sponsorship or transfer available.

Schedule

• Hybrid (3 days onsite)
• 6-month rolling contract with a very strong possibility of conversion to full-time.

Pay

• $85/hr W2 - $95/hr C2C/1099
