Discount Garage Doors of Albuquerque is hiring a skilled Garage Door Technician to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity to provide expert installation and repair services for residential and commercial garage doors. Key Responsibilities Install and repair various types of garage doors and openers for homes and businesses. Perform routine maintenance checks and make necessary adjustments for optimal door operation. Diagnose and troubleshoot garage door system issues efficiently. Deliver outstanding customer service by clearly communicating service details to clients. Keep an organized inventory of tools and parts to ensure timely service delivery. Follow all safety protocols and regulations on job sites. Work collaboratively with team members to complete larger projects effectively. Required and Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Proven experience in garage door installation and repair, ideally 2+ years. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Relevant certifications are a plus. Experience with diagnostic tools and repair equipment preferred. As part of our collaborative team, you will report to the Service Manager and work closely with sales and customer service teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
