Job description
Ane's Paviment is seeking a dedicated Garden Design and Maintenance Specialist for a contract role in Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa. Join a small, dynamic team and help create and care for residential and commercial gardens that are attractive, functional, and suited to their surroundings.
Key Responsibilities
- Design garden layouts based on client preferences, site conditions, and environmental factors.
- Oversee garden installations, including planting, landscaping, paving, and other hardscape features.
- Maintain garden health through watering, pruning, pest control, and related upkeep.
- Manage project schedules and respond to client questions and concerns with excellent service.
- Coordinate with contractors and other specialists, keeping communication clear and timely.
- Apply environmentally sustainable practices to landscaping and maintenance work.
- Document completed work and track garden growth and client satisfaction.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong design, landscaping, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in plumbing, pavement installation, and painting techniques.
- Problem-solving ability and close attention to detail.
- Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines.
- Previous garden design or maintenance experience is preferred.
