About the role
Rye Tavern is hiring a Garden Designer for a farm-to-table kitchen and ornamental garden. The role includes training this fall to take the lead for the full 2027 season. Active management mostly runs from March to November.
Responsibilities
- Provide weekly and daily hands-on care during peak growing season.
- Oversee daily harvesting and garden maintenance.
- Blend vegetable crops with ornamental flower displays and curate a stunning visual landscape.
- Start seeds early and prepare beds.
Requirements
- Access to your own greenhouse space for early seed starting, as Rye Tavern does not have an on-site greenhouse.
- Proficiency with seed starting and bed preparation.
- Strong experience blending vegetable crops and ornamental flower displays.
