Garden Designer

Rye Tavern is hiring a Garden Designer for a Farm-to-Table Kitchen & Ornamental Garden.

Because we do not have an on-site greenhouse, an ideal candidate should have access to their own greenhouse space to start seeds early and ensure a strong start for the season.

Details:
• train this Fall to take the lead for the full 2027 Season
• must have own greenhouse setup for early seed starting
• active management mostly runs March - Nov
• weekly & daily hands-on care during peak growing season
• healthy garden budget provided

What We Are Looking For:
• proficiency with seed starting and bed prep
• Strong experience blending vegetable crops & ornamental flower displays
• Excellent self-management skills to oversee daily harvesting and maintenance
• A creative spirit who takes pride in curating a stunning visual landscape

Mon–Thurs, 4–9
Fri, 4–10

Sat Brunch, 11-2
Sat Dinner, 4-10
Sun Brunch, 11-2
Sun Dinner, 4-9
Bar only between brunch & dinner
