Tapas das is hiring a skilled Garments Sewing Machine Operator to join our team in Stockholm, Sweden. This full-time role is essential in ensuring the high-quality production of garments within a fast-paced apparel manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain various sewing machines to produce garments as per design specifications.
• Perform precise stitching and fabric assembly while maintaining strict quality standards.
• Inspect finished garments for accuracy and compliance with quality control requirements.
• Cut, trim, and prepare materials before sewing, ensuring all materials are ready for production.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve production targets and deadlines.
• Monitor machine operations and troubleshoot to reduce downtime.
• Participate in safety meetings and training to comply with workplace regulations.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience operating sewing machines and garment stitching.
• Ability to read and understand technical specifications and sewing patterns.
• Knowledge of different fabrics and stitching techniques is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with safety practices in manufacturing environments.
• Previous experience in textile or apparel manufacturing is a plus.
