Garment Sewing Machine Operator in Stockholm, Sweden

Tapas das is hiring a full-time Garment Sewing Machine Operator in Stockholm, Sweden. In this on-site role, you will sew and assemble garments to design specifications, inspect finished products, and help maintain efficient apparel production.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain sewing machines used in garment production.
• Stitch and assemble fabric pieces accurately while meeting quality standards.
• Inspect completed garments and verify that components meet quality requirements.
• Cut, trim, and prepare materials, ensuring supplies are ready for production.
• Work with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues to reduce downtime.
• Attend training and safety meetings and follow workplace regulations.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience sewing and operating sewing machines.
• Ability to read technical specifications and sewing patterns.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with manufacturing safety practices.
• Knowledge of fabrics and stitching techniques is preferred.
• Previous textile or apparel industry experience is a plus.

Compensation and Employment

Pay: 30000 per month. This is a full-time, on-site position in Stockholm, Sweden.
