GIS Application and Integration Specialist

Tasks

• Diagnose map display, spatial-data and GIS integration failures affecting well-record search and application workflows.
• Maintain application-related GIS integrations and coordinate external map-service outages with the client GIS team and the client escalation process.
• Support approved enhancements to mapping, spatial queries and data exchange; document assumptions, interfaces and effort estimates.
• Validate spatial data, geometries, coordinate-reference handling and map/API behavior with the application, DBA and testing functions.
• Maintain GIS integration runbooks, configuration and change records; contribute to security review, regression tests and controlled releases.

Requirements

• Demonstrated GIS application support and spatial-data integration experience using Esri technologies and web mapping.
• Practical Leaflet or comparable web-map integration skills, with the ability to troubleshoot API/service responses and spatial rendering.
• Experience working with SQL Server spatial data and .NET or JavaScript application teams; ability to validate geometry and coordinate handling.
• Disciplined production troubleshooting, interface documentation, testing and communication with separate GIS platform owners.
• Helpful experience: Esri Leaflet, NetTopologySuite, Angular mapping integrations and AWS-hosted GIS/application environments.
