Grain Farm Laborer

Tasks

• Perform seasonal post-harvest winter farm work.
• Clean grain bins, grain-handling equipment, tractors, combines, and implements following completion of harvest.
• Handle and move stored corn and soybeans using augers, conveyors, loaders, and tractors.
• Clean, grease, and prepare farm equipment for winter storage and the upcoming planting season.
• Remove snow and ice as needed to maintain access to grain storage and agricultural work areas.

Requirements

• Visa required: H-2A
• Minimum of 3 months of experience is required.
• Employer shall Provide Necessary Training to worker.
• Workers Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire.
• Employer requires drug screen post hire at employers' expense due to the liability of operating equipment.
• Employer requires criminal background check post-hire at employers' expense due to the presence of expensive tools and equipment.
