Grain Storage Facility Operator

Tasks

• Preparing scale tickets
• Monitoring to ensure compliance with moisture and grade standards
• Transferring grain to proper storage location
• Transferring grain from storage bins to truck bins prior to shipment
• Operating augers and conveyors
• Clearing grain from automatic conveyor system that is causing jams, stoppages, or gaps in grain movement
• Performing housekeeping duties to ensure that storage locations are properly maintained
• Performing maintenance & minor miscellaneous repair on augers, grain bins and other tools involved with the storage of grain

Requirements

• Visa required: H-2A
• Must be able to climb vertical grain leg

Schedule

• From Dec 1, 2026 to Jan 31, 2027
• Daily duties may vary depending on crop and weather conditions

Pay

• $12.27 per hour
• The employer reserves the right to increase workers' pay or provide bonuses based on tenure, performance, or other factors that are solely based on the discretion of the employer
