Grain Storage Facility Operator

Tasks

• Job requires the safe and efficient handling of grain throughout all stages of storage and shipment.
• Accurately preparing and documenting scale tickets and inspecting incoming loads to ensure compliance with established moisture content and grade quality standards.
• Once accepted, grain must be transferred to the appropriate storage bins using grain conveying systems while maintaining even distribution and minimizing waste.
• Shipping grain as required, which involves moving grain from storage bins to truck loading bins and coordinating the loading process for outbound transportation.
• Manual shoveling of grain is required in areas where automatic conveyor equipment cannot fully remove grain, especially during bin clean-outs or maintenance operations.
• Regular housekeeping duties must be performed to ensure that grain storage areas, loading

Pay

• $13.15 per hour
