Grain Storage Facility Operator

Tasks

• Keeping shipping logs
• Monitoring crops to ensure compliance with quality and sale standards
• Ensuring crops are in the correct containers based on their quality and condition
• Transferring crops to proper storage location
• Transporting crops from holding facility as required and transferring crops from storage to shipment containers prior to shipment
• Moving crops around holding facility
• Clearing crops from automatic transportation system that is causing jams, stoppages, or gaps in crop movement
• Performing housekeeping duties to ensure that holding locations are properly maintained
• Transporting crops
• Performing maintenance & minor miscellaneous repair on conveying equipment, holding facilities and other tools involved

Requirements

• Visa required: H-2A
• Must be able to climb vertical grain leg
• Workers may be required to operate machinery for storage facility maintenance and farm trucks (no CDL

Schedule

• From Nov 25, 2026 to Feb 13, 2027

Pay

• $13.95 per hour
