Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site Packaging Designer role based in Santo Domingo. The Packaging Designer will be responsible for creating visually compelling and functional packaging concepts that align with brand guidelines and product requirements. Day-to-day tasks include developing packaging layouts, collaborating with branding and marketing teams, preparing print-ready files, and refining designs based on feedback from stakeholders.
The role involves working closely with product and production teams to ensure materials, dimensions, and technical specifications are accurate and feasible. The Packaging Designer will also participate in design reviews, maintain consistency across product lines, and stay updated on industry trends and sustainable packaging practices.
QualificationsCandidates should possess strong skills in Packaging Design and Product Design to create effective, user-focused packaging solutions.Candidates should possess skills in Branding and Graphic Design to ensure packaging aligns with visual identity and marketing objectives.Candidates should possess solid Typography skills to create clear, legible, and aesthetically pleasing information on packaging.Candidates should have proficiency in industry-standard design tools (such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and experience preparing files for print and production.Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Candidates should have relevant experience in packaging or product design; a degree or certification in Design, Visual Arts, or a related field is preferred.Candidates should have good communication skills in English and Spanish and the ability to work on-site in Santo Domingo.
