Group Accounting Head

About the role

FTC Careers is seeking a Group Accounting Head with experience in group accounting, financial consolidation, and financial reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or any related business course.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is highly preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least two (2) years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Proven experience in group accounting, financial consolidation, and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Experience handling audits and coordinating with internal and external auditors.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel, and accounting or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
• Strong understanding of financial controls, budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and account reconciliation.
• Strong leadership, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• High level of integrity, accountability, and confidentiality, with the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.
