Role Description The Guest Service Associate – Food and Beverage Service is a full-time, on-site role located in Airport, MO. This position is responsible for welcoming guests to the restaurant and banquet areas, guiding them to their tables, presenting menus, and providing courteous, efficient food and beverage service. Daily tasks include taking orders accurately, coordinating with the kitchen and bar, serving food and drinks, clearing tables, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in all service areas. The role also involves assisting with buffet setups and banquet functions, managing basic billing procedures, and promptly addressing guest inquiries or concerns to ensure a positive dining experience. The Guest Service Associate will work closely with the hotel’s F&B and front-of-house teams to uphold service standards and support smooth operations during peak hours and special events.
Qualifications
Strong guest service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse guests and team members.Basic food and beverage service knowledge, including menu familiarity, table setting standards, and safe handling of food and drinks.Ability to manage multiple tables and tasks, prioritize during busy periods, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in basic billing and POS operations, including order entry, cash handling, and ensuring accurate checks for guests.Commitment to hygiene and safety standards, including adherence to hotel policies, food safety guidelines, and cleanliness protocols.Prior experience in hotel, restaurant, or banquet service is preferred; hospitality diploma or relevant training is an advantage.Willingness to work flexible shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by hotel operations.Professional appearance, reliability, and a collaborative mindset focused on delivering a high-quality guest experience.
