Responsibilities

• Advise on fraud and abuse, HIPAA, and corporate practice of medicine.
• Assist with regulatory diligence and structuring of corporate transactions.
• Work on healthcare transactions, including private equity and M&A.
• Collaborate with companies and investors on regulatory and compliance counseling.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in a law firm environment.
• Experience with CMS, OCR, or DOJ is a plus.
• JD from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice in DC or NY.
• Excellent academic credentials and strong analytical, written, verbal, interpersonal, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, work collaboratively and independently, and demonstrate attention to detail and good business judgment.
