Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic

About the role

Maple Leaf Drilling is looking for a Mechanic with relative experience required in Diesel, Gas, and Hydraulics.

Tasks

• Perform Regular Vehicle, Drilling Equipment, Repair and Maintenance
• This person will be responsible for Vehicle and Mechanical repairs and maintenance, with mostly Shop Work

Requirements

• At least 2 years of Mechanical experience in Heavy Equipment or Certification equivalent.
• All applicants must pass Drug Testing prior to hire and provide a Driver’s Abstract as well as a Criminal Record Check.
• Mechanical Certification and a proven history of Mechanical Work (include in resume)
• Candidate must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions, there will be long days, and some weekends.
• Some overnight travel away from home may be required.
• Must have own vehicle to get to work, no public transportation available. Class 1 or 3 with Air an asset
• First Aid Certificate, WHIMS, other Safety Courses would be an asset.
• Equipment Operation would be an asset

Schedule

• Weekends and Evenings will be required at different times
• 40 hour Work Week plus potential Overtime
