Job Description Troubleshoot and inspect heavy-duty equipment to identify faults and malfunctions. Diagnose issues using computerized and manual testing tools on internal combustion engines, DC electrical systems, propane systems, hydraulics, and fuel systems. Perform major repairs and replace defective parts independently using diagnostic tools, hand tools, and measuring instruments. Test repaired equipment to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturer specifications. Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, lubrication, tire replacements, hose repairs, battery replacements, and servicing attachments and working tools. Qualifications Proven experience as a heavy-duty equipment mechanic or similar role. Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and fuel systems.
