About the role

Greystar is hiring a High-Rise Area Maintenance Manager to oversee and coordinate technical and mechanical work for three or more communities totaling over 500 units. The role helps ensure buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet company standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and functionality while meeting budgeted financial and operational goals.

The position includes a 100% employer-paid apartment as part of the total benefits package, in accordance with Jersey City ordinances.

Responsibilities

• Manage completion of work orders generated from resident service requests.
• Ensure routine upkeep of the properties.
• Diagnose and repair or replace necessary components in accordance with established policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Assist in developing scopes of work, managing vendor relations, and analyzing properties for maintenance needs and improvements.
