Job description
Join our team as a Highway Litter Removal Crew Member in San Diego, CA, earning $16.85 hourly. This part-time role offers early shifts Monday through Friday, allowing you to enjoy your afternoons while making a positive impact on your community.
About the Role
- Perform outdoor litter removal along highways during daylight hours
- Start early and typically finish around 3:30 PM
- Work involves walking several miles and standing most of the shift
- Travel between cleaning locations with provided transportation
- Safety equipment and free snacks provided; lunch treats weekly
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Able to lift up to 20 lbs independently
- Reliable transportation to attend scheduled shifts
- Comfortable working outdoors up to 90% of the time in varying weather (excluding extreme conditions)
- Ability to communicate effectively and follow supervisor instructions
- Comfortable working alongside highway shoulders
