Nellyv is hiring dedicated Hospital Cleaners for Mankweng Hospital located in Polokwane, Limpopo, South Africa. As a Hospital Cleaner, you will be essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and hospital staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize patient rooms, waiting areas, and public hospital spaces.
• Maintain floor cleanliness through sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming as required.
• Collect and dispose of waste following hospital policies and health regulations.
• Restock cleaning supplies and promptly report maintenance issues to supervisors.
• Adhere strictly to infection control protocols and safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with nursing and medical staff to prioritize cleaning based on patient needs.
• Prepare and organize cleaning equipment and materials daily.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards.
• Previous healthcare cleaning experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and disinfectants.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Physically capable of performing cleaning duties, including lifting and moving items.

The Hospital Cleaner will report to the Cleaning Supervisor and collaborate with multiple departments to ensure hygiene and cleanliness remain top priorities. This role supports the hospital’s mission to provide a safe, welcoming environment for all.
