Nellyv is hiring dedicated Hospital Cleaners for Mankweng Hospital located in Polokwane, Limpopo, South Africa. This full-time role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a strong commitment to maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe hospital environment for patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize patient rooms, waiting areas, and public hospital spaces.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain cleanliness.
• Collect and dispose of waste following hospital policies and regulations.
• Restock cleaning supplies and promptly report maintenance issues to supervisors.
• Adhere strictly to infection control protocols and safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with nursing and medical staff to prioritize cleaning based on patient needs.
• Prepare and organize cleaning equipment and materials for daily use.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards.
• Previous healthcare cleaning experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and disinfectants.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Physically capable of performing cleaning duties, including lifting and moving items.

As a Hospital Cleaner at Mankweng Hospital, you will report to the Cleaning Supervisor and collaborate with multiple departments to ensure hygiene and cleanliness remain a top priority. This role supports the hospital’s mission to provide a safe, welcoming environment for all.

Salary: ZAR 10,000 per month
