We are looking for an experienced HP Tandem (HP NonStop) Developer with strong expertise in mission-critical systems, application development, and production support. Candidates with Payment Processing and Retail/Merchandise domain experience are highly preferred.
🔹 Key Technical Skills:
HP NonStop / Tandem, Guardian, TACL, Pathway, Enscribe, and OSS
TAL, COBOL, C, and C++
System Z – Enterprise COBOL
Unix Shell Scripting and text-processing tools
SQL/MX, FUP, SCF, and TMF
TCP/IP, file transfers, backup, and disaster recovery
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and support HP NonStop applications.
Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity.
Troubleshoot production issues and support high-availability systems.
Manage system upgrades, backups, replication, and disaster recovery.
Collaborate with teams to ensure reliable, continuous business operations.
🔹 Preferred Background:
8–10 years of relevant experience.
Payment processing and retail/merchandise experience.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
Willingness to work onsite in Tampa, FL.
