As they scale their flagship 108-acre master-planned community in Costa Rica, our client is looking for an HR Manager to bring senior-level people operations expertise to their organization.
If you have outgrown transactional HR and see people operations as a strategic function, this is your opportunity to build HR systems from the ground up for a category-defining company.
What You Will DoDesign and implement HR policies, standard operating procedures, and scalable people operations infrastructure.Ensure HR compliance with Costa Rican labor law and coordinate the HR side of payroll.Lead all core HR functions, including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.Integrate AI tools into HR workflows to improve efficiency in recruitment, documentation, and people analytics.
Who We Are Looking ForLeaders with 5+ years of HR management experience, ideally in startups, hospitality, or mission-driven environments.Professionals with 3+ years of experience managing HR functions for remote or internationally distributed teams.Candidates with full bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).Experts in Costa Rican employment law (including CCSS, Aguinaldo, and the Código de Trabajo) with a strong grasp of the HR tech stack
