We’re looking for an IBM ACE Lead who is passionate about enterprise integration platforms and eager to own the stability, reliability, and modernization of critical business services that support Walmart’s operations across the region.
This role is ideal for professionals with strong experience in IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE/IIB), IBM MQ, integration architecture, production support, and middleware operations. The position plays a key role in ensuring that critical business transactions, including ecommerce and enterprise integrations, remain available and performant.
What you’ll doIntegration Platform Operations & ReliabilityAdminister and support IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE/IIB) and IBM MQ environments.Ensure platform availability, resiliency, stability, and performance.Monitor critical integration services and drive continuous service improvements.Support high-availability environments and business-critical integrations.Integration Engineering & Solution DesignDesign, develop, and maintain integrations using IBM ACE, IBM MQ, ESQL, Java, REST APIs, and SOAP services.Support integrations across ecommerce, ERP, supply chain, payment systems, and enterprise platforms.Perform technical reviews and recommend architecture improvements.Incident, Change & Service ManagementLead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.Participate in critical incident management and production support.Execute controlled changes and ensure operational readiness.Collaborate with vendors and internal technology teams.Continuous Improvement & Technical LeadershipRecommend modernization opportunities and platform enhancements.Drive automation, standardization, and operational excellence.Contribute to integration governance, documentation, and best practices.
What you’ll bringBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.3–5+ years of experience in software engineering, middleware, or integration technologies.Strong hands-on experience with IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE/IIB).Experience with IBM MQ, ESQL, Java, REST APIs, and SOAP services.Experience supporting production environments and critical business services.Advanced English communication skills.Ability to work with distributed teams and multiple stakeholders.IBM certifications and experience with Kafka, API Connect, DevSecOps, ITIL, or Agile methodologies are a plus
