Job description
About the role
As a Package Layout Team Leader at Cisco, you will lead and grow the San Jose layout team while supporting complex package programs. You will provide technical guidance, mentorship, resource coordination, and people leadership for package layout activities across advanced ASIC packaging projects.
The Common Hardware Group creates hardware platforms for Cisco’s Switching, Routing, and Wireless products. Its work includes silicon, optics, and hardware platforms such as Silicon One. The team handles full product development, from design to qualification to production.
You will work with package leads, SI/PI teams, and the global layout organization to strengthen layout engineering capability, improve methodologies and flows, and support high-quality package implementations.
