Ignition Key Specialist Contract Job in Albuquerque, NM

Express Locksmith is seeking a skilled Ignition Key Specialist to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This contract role offers a competitive annual salary of $75,000 and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced automotive service environment. Key Responsibilities Cut and program ignition keys for a variety of vehicle makes and models. Assist customers in choosing the best ignition key solutions tailored to their needs. Deliver excellent customer service by promptly addressing inquiries and resolving issues. Perform quality inspections on all completed keys and locksmith services to ensure accuracy. Efficiently manage inventory of key materials and locksmith tools to maintain smooth operations. Collaborate with team members to optimize workflows and enhance service delivery. Stay informed on the latest locksmithing technologies and automotive industry trends. Required and Preferred Qualifications Valid driver’s license. Possession of locksmith tools or ability to acquire necessary tools. Minimum of 2 years proven experience in locksmithing and key cutting preferred. Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach. Exceptional attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship. Familiarity with key programming software tools. Current locksmithing or automotive service certifications are a plus. This is a 1099 independent contractor position paid per job. You will report directly to the Operations Manager and work alongside a dedicated team committed to delivering top-quality automotive locksmith services.
