Import Export Specialist Air Freight

Job OverviewWe are looking for an experienced International Logistics Coordinator with a strong background in Air Freight operations (Imports and Exports). This role is responsible for coordinating end-to-end air shipments, ensuring compliance with international regulations, and maintaining high service standards across all logistics processes.
Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and manage international air freight shipments for both import and export operations.Handle pre-alert creation, validation, and follow-up to ensure accurate shipment processing.Ensure compliance with U.S. regulations and international trade requirements.Process and manage documentation such as e-AWB, ISF filings, and SSL instructions.Monitor and resolve EDI transactions (including GI004), ensuring system accuracy and data integrity.Work closely with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely shipment execution.Maintain visibility of shipments and proactively address delays or operational issues.Support reporting and documentation aligned with client requirements and internal standards.
Requirements+1.5 years of experience in Air Freight operations (Imports and Exports).English level: B2-C1 (written and verbal).Solid understanding of Incoterms and international logistics processes.Experience handling pre-alerts and shipment coordination workflows.Knowledge of tools and systems such as TMF, EDI GI004, e-AWB, and ISF Bot.Familiarity with Halliburton lanes is highly preferred.
