In-Home Caregiver for Seniors in Richmond Hill, Ontario

Seeking an experienced in-home caregiver for two seniors over age 65 with high medical needs. This permanent, full-time position is based in the employer’s home at 260 Farmstead Road, Richmond Hill, Ontario. The anticipated start date is as soon as possible.

Compensation and schedule

• Pay: 19 per hour
• Hours: 35 hours per week
• Employment: Permanent, full-time
• Accommodation: Optional, no-charge live-in accommodation is available; living in is not a condition of employment

Responsibilities

• Provide care and support to two older adults with high medical needs.
• Monitor physical and mental health, food and fluid intake and output, and exercise routines.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care.
• Prepare and serve meals and snacks.
• Provide housekeeping and laundry services.
• Run errands and support daily activities.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience.
• Completion of high school credentials.
• English-language skills.
• No certificates, licenses, memberships, or courses are required.
• Essential skills include reading, numeracy, writing, communication, teamwork, problem-solving, critical thinking, task planning and organization, and memory.
