The inspection provider is a family-held business with nearly 60 years of experience delivering nationwide inspection services to the insurance industry. Inspectors receive company support and use an online portal to manage assignments and submit reports.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and conduct property loss control inspections during regular business hours, Monday through Friday. No fieldwork is permitted on Sundays.
• Walk through properties, interview the insured or contact, take photographs, and prepare building diagrams.
• Complete client forms and provide requested inspection details according to established procedures and quality standards.
• Retrieve assignments, track their status, upload photos, and submit completed reports through the inspector portal.
• Return reports within 14 calendar days of assignment for Quality Assurance review. Portal submissions are available at any time.

Requirements and equipment

• Use a personal vehicle, laptop, and digital camera.
• Be able to conduct property visits and communicate with insured contacts.
• Provide accurate, thorough reports and meet submission deadlines.

Compensation and schedule

Pay: Flat rate per inspection. Base rates range from $45 to $75 per inspection. Assignments outside the usual service area may be considered for a higher rate on a case-by-case basis. This is not an hourly position.
