About the OpportunityA growing multi-site corporate group is seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead its technology operations, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and strategic IT initiatives. This is a leadership role responsible for aligning technology with business objectives, ensuring operational continuity, and driving innovation across multiple business units.The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with strategic thinking, people leadership, and hands-on experience managing enterprise network environments.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute the organization’s IT strategy in alignment with business goals.Manage IT budgets, resource allocation, and technology investments.Lead, mentor, and evaluate IT staff to ensure high performance and professional growth.Oversee the installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of hardware, software, network, and cloud systems.Administer and optimize Ubiquiti UniFi network infrastructure, including gateways, switches, wireless access points, and controllers.Configure and maintain VLANs, VPNs, firewall rules, network segmentation, QoS, and secure remote connectivity.Monitor network performance, wireless coverage, and bandwidth utilization to ensure high availability.Maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, firmware updates, and lifecycle planning.Lead cybersecurity initiatives, including audits, penetration testing, simulated attacks, and end-user awareness programs.Ensure data security, system integrity, and compliance with applicable IT standards and regulations.Manage IT asset inventory and lifecycle processes.Develop, implement, and test Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plans.Oversee patch management and operating system/application updates.Manage IT vendors, contractors, and service providers.Lead IT projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.Provide strategic technology recommendations to executive leadership.
Required ExperienceMinimum 7 years of progressive IT experience.At least 3 years in an IT Manager or leadership role overseeing infrastructure, cybersecurity, teams, and budgets.Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Ubiquiti UniFi environments.Proven experience supporting multi-site corporate network infrastructures.
PreferredExperience in multi-company or multi-site environments.Experience leading digital transformation initiatives.
Education & Certifications
RequiredBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
PreferredMBA, Master’s in IT Management, or Cybersecurity.Ubiquiti UniFi AdministrationCisco CCNACompTIA Network+Microsoft CertificationsFortinet FCA/NSE
