About the OpportunityWe are seeking a dynamic and relationship-driven Inside Sales Representative to join a growing and high-impact Parts Business team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a business segment experiencing strong momentum and continued expansion.In this role, you will manage an established portfolio of customers, developing long-term relationships, driving repeat business, and identifying opportunities to increase revenue. Rather than cold calling, your focus will be on proactively engaging existing customers, understanding their operational needs, and delivering exceptional service that turns customers into long-term partners.This position is ideal for professionals with experience in transportation, logistics, fleet operations, trucking, automotive, heavy equipment, mechanical services, or parts distribution environments. Understanding transportation operations, vehicle maintenance, parts inventory, and supply chain processes will be key to succeeding in this role.Reporting to the Outside Sales Manager, with close collaboration with the Customer Experience Team, you will play a critical role at the intersection of sales, customer success, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Revenue GrowthManage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts, including fleets, dealers, distributors, and independent operators.Develop strong customer relationships and serve as a trusted advisor for parts-related needs.Conduct proactive outreach to promote special offers, new product availability, inventory updates, and business opportunities.Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to increase customer lifetime value and share of wallet.Maintain regular communication with customers to strengthen engagement and drive recurring revenue.Sales Support & Order ManagementPrepare and deliver accurate quotations while ensuring alignment with pricing and inventory availability.Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, Purchasing, and Customer Experience teams to provide timely solutions for customers.Monitor sales opportunities, quotes, and open orders through the full sales cycle.Ensure a seamless customer experience from inquiry through order fulfillment.Backorder Resolution & Customer CommunicationProactively communicate order status, shipping updates, and backorder information.Coordinate internally to identify resolution strategies and expedite fulfillment whenever possible.Manage customer expectations effectively while maintaining a high level of satisfaction and trust.Escalate critical issues when necessary and drive timely resolutions.Cross-Functional CollaborationAct as a liaison between customers, outside sales representatives, operations, and customer support teams.Provide account insights and sales intelligence to support strategic customer engagement.Participate in team meetings, training programs, trade shows, and customer-facing events as needed.Contribute ideas and best practices that improve customer experience and sales performance.QualificationsRequired3–7 years of experience in Inside Sales, Account Management, Business Development, Customer Success, or a related B2B sales role.Proven success managing customer relationships and driving revenue growth within existing accounts.Experience supporting customers in transportation, logistics, trucking, fleet management, automotive, heavy equipment, mechanical services, parts distribution, or related industries.Strong consultative selling, communication, and negotiation skills.Experience working with CRM and ERP systems (Salesforce, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).Ability to manage multiple accounts, priorities, and follow-up activities effectively.Fluent English and Spanish (written and verbal).PreferredStrong knowledge of transportation logistics, fleet operations, truck parts, heavy-duty equipment, maintenance programs, vehicle repair processes, or mechanical systems.Experience in aftermarket parts sales, industrial distribution, manufacturing, transportation, or automotive businesses.Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
