Inside Sales Representative

About the role

CIMTEC Automation provides customized industrial automation services and products. Established in 1987, the company serves industries including automotive, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, consumer products, transportation, oil and gas, utilities, custom machine builders, and the military.

Responsibilities

• Generate sales of company products and services for customers who contact the company by phone, email, or chat.
• Respond to customer inquiries about pricing, product availability, order status, and company services.
• Prepare customer quotes and enter product orders into the system.
• Build customer relationships through regular follow-up by phone and email.
• Collaborate with customer support and order fulfillment teams to support service delivery.
• Participate in regularly scheduled company and team meetings and take on other responsibilities as assigned by management.
• Follow up on inbound leads and initiate outbound cold calls and emails to source sales opportunities.
• Qualify opportunities and route them to sales executives for further development and closure.
• Work to meet and exceed quarterly sales quotas.
• Work daily with outside sales representatives to ensure orders are processed accurately and on time.

• Proven experience in inside sales, customer support, or a related field.
