Role Description This is a Part-time, on-site role based in La Paz for a Vehicle GPS Installer at SPTP INNOVATIONS Ltda. The Vehicle GPS Installer is responsible for installing, configuring, and testing GPS devices in a variety of vehicles, ensuring accurate operation and secure placement. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing installation requirements, routing and connecting wiring, integrating GPS units with vehicle power systems, and performing functional checks and troubleshooting when issues arise. The role also involves documenting each installation, explaining basic device use and maintenance to clients, and coordinating with the technical team to report recurring problems or suggest improvements. The installer is expected to follow safety standards, protect client property during work, and maintain tools and equipment in good condition.Qualifications Experience installing and maintaining electronic or automotive systems, with strong practical skills in wiring, device mounting, and basic diagnostics.Ability to provide clear, patient training and guidance to customers and team members on GPS device use and basic troubleshooting.General technical aptitude and capacity to learn product-specific procedures, including reading manuals, diagrams, and installation guides.Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to safety when working in and around vehicles.Good communication skills and customer service orientation for on-site interactions in La Paz.Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally for installations and service visits.Previous experience in automotive electronics, telematics, or related technical fields is an advantage.
